Your Powerhouse Gym facility is one of 11 original structures that comprised the Crompton-Shenandoah Plant. In the 20th century, the Crompton Company was the world’s largest supplier of cotton corduroy and velveteen. Crompton opened the Shenandoah plant in 1927 and it served as one of Waynesboro’s leading employers for the next 5 decades.
Today the century-old architecture, rich history, and character of Crompton-Shenandoah provide the backdrop to inspired workouts and physical achievement.
